Tri-State Special Education Law Conference

Tri-State Special Education Law Conference

The Tri-State Special Education Law Conference focuses on the legal foundations of special education, compliance, and effective implementation in education systems. This conference is designed for general and special education administrators and teachers, service providers, parents, advocates, lawyers and others involved in developing and supporting special education services for children with disabilities and their families. Most sessions will require attendees to have a background in special education procedures and practice in order to apply the information to work or advocacy responsibilities.

The conference reflects a long-standing partnership among the Iowa Department of Education, Kansas State Department of Education, and Nebraska Department of Education. While this conference is put on by and for the three states, participants from other states are welcome to attend.
