Empowering paraeducators, related service providers, and interveners nationwide.

The National Resource Center for Paraeducators, Related Service Providers, & Interveners (NRCP) provides national leadership, training, and technical assistance to improve the recruitment, preparation, and retention of paraeducators and those who support them. For decades, NRCP has served as a national hub for research‑informed resources, training models, and shared learning that advance paraeducator practice.

We support a broad network of education professionals and stakeholders across the country, including:

  • Paraeducators
  • Teachers
  • School and district administrators
  • Policymakers
  • Occupational, physical, and speech-language therapists
  • Early childhood specialists
  • Interveners
  • Related service providers
  • Personnel developers in 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities
  • Family members and advocates
  • Professional organizations and unions

Our Goals

Build collaborative systems by bringing together employers, personnel developers, unions, professional organizations, paraeducators, related service providers, interveners, family members, and other advocates to improve policies, systems, infrastructure, and services for all children and youth.
